What!   "Another site about affiliate marketing"

Well no, not really.  We only want to point you in the direction of the best.  Let me explain.

Having been involved with the web since 1992 I can tell stories such as my first contact from Amazon pushing the concept of affiliate sales.  Their first e-mail to me probably around 1995 read something like this:

"We have recently visited your website about antiques and what a great site it is.  How would you like to add relevant content to your site by listing our books about antiques.  Furthermore you will be paid for any referral (clickthrough) to our site etc etc."

Of course at that time I had never heard of Amazon or the concept of affiliate sales but I did get involved.  In those days it was quite a time consuming process to add the individual links to each book to be listed. 

I remember as clear as if it were yesterday my first cheque from them for $35.  I had quite forgotten about the site and its income prospects and even though the cheque was not that large it brought a big grin to my face.  It was my first income from affiliate selling on-line and I didn't even realise I had been selling.

Things have  moved on though and here in 2005 we are in the age of Super Affiliates.  Do you realise that about 2% of affiliates do 90% of the selling.  I and my team at Creative Eye are determined to get among that top elite in this game and have studied this stuff to death. There is so much out there that it can all get very confusing.  We are trying to bring a little bit of clarity and simplicity to the whole subject.

I can tell you on good authority therefore that we have definitely found the best of the best out there and are here to promote them.

Unless another major player comes on the scene we consider a young geek Anik Singal and a charming lady Rosalind Gardner to be the authorative sources where affiliate sales are concerned.  Our advice is get Rosalind's book and join Anik's Affiliate Classroom and you will have equipped yourself well.
